The first new project after the ending of Beseech has been officially announced today. 6 of the former members of Beseech has joined up to form this new band called The Mary Major. Check out their website for more information about the project. Go to www.themarymajor.com. More info will come soon.

I've had the opportunity to listen to a couple of the songs that the band has made so far and I can tell you that it will be very interesting to follow these guys in the future. The music sounds really great, a bit harder and rougher than Beseech. Although I've only heard the sounds without much production on them it does sound really nice, can't wait to hear more from them. Make sure to follow the progress on the website.

We recieved some unconfirmed rumours about new projects involving some of the members of Beseech during the gig on friday the 15:th. We do not have all the information about this yet so we can't really say much about it, but it looks like there's at least one new project coming up involving members of Beseech. We'll keep you posted on this as soon as we're able to confirm information about it. So keep checking in to the fanclub, since we'll be following all the members to see what they come up with in the future.

We've recieved the following message from former member of Beseech Klas Bohlin:

Hi there Beseech fans,

Klas Bohlin ex guitarist and songwriter of Beseech here, how are you?

Well, it´s been a while since my last album (Souls Highway) with Beseech,
and it´s been a very, very, very long time since Me, Jörgen and Morgan
founded Beseech back in 1992. Today I´m back with a new material with my
new band Depressive Art.

When I decided to leave Beseech in February 2003 I had written some songs
that we never used for Drama... a couple of months before Beseech entered
the studio, I realized that my new songs that were more 1960s influenced
was impossible to use in a metal band like Beseech. Therefore I decided to
found a new band with people that shared the same vision as I did.

In Depressive Art I also decided to put 100% focus on my own voice and
vocals, something that made the writing process much more natural and
close to my heart.

There were no hard feelings between us when I left the Beseech. For me,
song writing has always been my nr1 thing, and since my main-job in
Beseech (during the years 1992-2003) was to write songs I will never
regret my choice of leaving Beseech. It is really important for me to feel
that I make personal progress with each new song, that in the end was very
hard in Beseech... perhaps I´m too old for metal:-) hahahaha...

I do believe that all guys + Lotta (+ Anna and all ex guys) in Beseech are
awesome people that I have shared many great moments with... and sometimes
I miss them very much.

So far Depressive Art has released the debut single "On Solid Ground" from
the up-coming album "Bye bye, dear everything"... check em both out and
share my dark vision of making 1960s oriented music with a melancholic
touch.

Although it is with great grief that we have to face the fact that Beseech is no more, we've decided to keep the fanclub site open. This site will be kept open in remembrance of this great band so you'll all be able to come here to remember all the good stuff from Beseech.

Of course we will be at the farewell gig in Beseech's hometown of Borås on december 15:th. It will be held where it all once began, Trädgårn in Borås. We hope to see as many of you as possible there so we can all pay tribute to the band. We will do our very best to document this last gig, we hope that we'll be able to record the gig and the massive party afterwards (at least we think there'll be a massive party) and then post it here on the fanclub site. For all the fans out there you really should try to get your hand on the last Beseech merchandise available. There's not that much left so if you want to have some Beseech memerobilia you should visit the online store here. Make sure you get your hands on one of the last Beseech t-shirts ever.

Although we are very sad that we won't be able to enjoy any more new Beseech music in the future we are looking forward to any new projects that might come from any of the members in the band.
