The videoshoot for "Drama".

We decided to join Beseech for the videoshoot of "Drama", to give you all a picture of what a videoshoot is like.
I guess we could sum it all up in one word; waiting. There's a lot of waiting on the set, waiting for the lights to be set, the camera to be mounted, waiting for the script to be gone thruough and so on.
But anyway, after a couple of hours delay they finally got started. Jonas was first up with a shoot of him playing the drums, after that Daniel was up, followed by Robert and Mikael.
They all played the entire song, this is going to be used during one scene in the video where the hole band is playing on a stage in a big mansion.
The video will include quite a lot of 3D-animations and will have rather ghostlike appearence.
We'll see Erik turn from raven to man, floating in a corridor of the mansion and so on. We're guessing this will be a very nice video.
Well back to the shooting now, Erik was now up for shooting, he did his parts very good, both with the microphone and without it. At first all shots where made showing everyone in fullpicture, so when Erik made his part it was time for Lotta.
It's quite hard work making a video I can tell you, it's not easy standing all alone infront of a bluescreen acting like you have the entire band around you, and making it look good.
But with help from Jonas's brother Joakim who shot the video everyone did a great job. You can tell these guys has been around for a while now.
When we left them after 8 hours of shooting they were about halfway through the scenes. Erik which has a big part in the video had loads of work left to be done. We hope he made it through it all.
But the shooting of the scenes where Beseech is playing is just a little part of the entire video. When these are done it's time for the post production team to take over. They are the guys that will make the "live" shootings fit into the animations. That takes time!
But we're certainly looking forward to seeing the end result of this video.

Thanks to everyone involved in the video who made it possible:
Joakim Strömberg for taking the time to shoot the scenes.
The 3D animators for doing it for free.
Everyone involved in make-up and hair.
The school for letting Beseech borrow their studio.
And everyone else of course.
